Canceling Your Subscription Plan
If you decide that Hire Local isn’t right for you anymore or you want to pause your expert activities, you can cancel your subscription plan at any time. Here’s how to do it and what to expect.
How to Cancel Your Plan
Log in to your Expert Dashboard
Go to the Subscription or Account Settings section
Find the Cancel Subscription button
Follow the prompts to confirm cancellation
When Does the Cancellation Take Effect?
- Your subscription will remain active until the end of the current billing period
- You can keep applying and working until then
- After the subscription expires, your profile will become inactive and you won’t be able to apply for jobs or be visible to customers
Refunds
- No refunds are provided for partial months or unused time, as per Hire Local’s refund policy
- Be sure to cancel before your next billing cycle if you don’t want to be charged again
Re-activating Your Subscription
- You can reactivate your subscription anytime by choosing a new plan
- Your profile will become visible again once the new plan is active
What Happens If You Don’t Cancel?
- Your subscription will automatically renew based on the plan you chose (monthly or yearly)
- You will be charged again unless you cancel before the renewal date
