How does Hire Local work?

Hire Local simplifies the process of hiring and getting hired by organizing everything in one place — from job posting to payment. Whether you’re a customer looking for help or an expert offering your services, the system is built to guide you through each step.

For Customers (those posting jobs)

  1. Create a job post:
    Describe what you need done, where, when, and how much you’re willing to pay.
  2. Receive expert applications or invite experts:
    Experts can apply, or you can invite specific ones based on their profiles.
  3. Review and hire:
    You review expert applications, message them if needed, and click “Hire” when ready.
  4. Work begins:
    Once an expert accepts, the job status changes to In Progress. You can chat and track the job on your dashboard.
  5. Job completion:
    When the work is done, the expert marks it complete. You review it, then mark it Completed.
  6. Payment and review:
    You make payment through the platform, then leave a rating and review.

For Experts (those doing the work)

  1. Create an account and set up your profile:
    Add your skills, work samples, and a strong bio. Choose a subscription plan to apply for jobs.
  2. Browse or get invited to jobs:
    Experts can see available jobs and apply, or be directly invited by customers.
  3. Send offers and communicate:
    Experts can send custom offers or accept customer budgets. Use platform messaging to clarify details.
  4. Get hired and start work:
    When hired, the job moves to In Progress and you begin work.
  5. Complete the job:
    Once done, mark the job as Completed so the customer can confirm.
  6. Get paid:
    After the customer confirms completion, payment is released to your account.
