Updating Your Profile Details

Keeping your profile up to date helps you stay visible and trusted on Hire Local — whether you’re an expert or a customer. You can update personal info, location, services, and more at any time from your dashboard.

For Experts

Your profile is your storefront — make sure it’s complete and accurate.

 

To update your expert profile:

 

1. Log into your Expert Dashboard

2. Click Profile Settings or Edit Profile

3. Update your: 

    • Name
    • Location
    • Profile photo
    • Service categories
    • Hourly rate or pricing
    • Description/Bio

4. Click Save Changes

For Customers

Customers can update their personal details to make communication and job management smoother.

 

To update your customer info:

 

1. Log into your Customer Dashboard

2. Go to Account Settings

3. Update:

    • Name
    • Location
    • Contact number

4. Save the changes

Important Notes

  • Profile photos should be clear, real photos (no logos or icons for experts)
  • Location helps customers find local experts or jobs
  • Experts should keep bios and pricing accurate to avoid confusion or disputes
  • You can update your info as often as needed
