Viewing Invoices and Receipts
Hire Local provides automatic invoices and receipts for both customers and experts. These documents help track spending, earnings, and can be used for tax or business reporting.
For Customers
How to view your receipts:
- Log into your Customer Dashboard
- Go to the “Payments” or “Invoices” section
- Find the job you paid for
- Click “View Receipt” or “Download PDF”
Each receipt includes:
- Job ID and title
- Expert name
- Payment date
- Amount paid (including the 5% platform fee)
- Payment method used (Bank transfer)
For Experts
Experts can view earnings and payment records for completed jobs.
How to view your payout details:
- Log into your Expert Dashboard
- Click on “Earnings” or “Job History”
- Select a completed job
- View payout amount and payment status
- If needed, request a custom payout summary for tax or reporting purposes via support
Each record shows:
- Job title and customer name
- Your quoted price
- Date marked complete
- Payment status (Pending / Paid)
Requesting a Full Statement (Optional)
If you need a full statement of your yearly income or all invoices:
- Contact Hire Local support via the Help section
- Request a custom summary or bulk download for a selected period
